Responding to the need for an easy-to-use machine that could tackle heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, Snow Joe developed the Snow Joe 622, a larger electric snow thrower that delivers the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric unit. Driven by a 13 amp motor, the Snow Joe Ultra moves up to 800 pounds of snow per minute. Its durable, 4 blade rotor, constructed of heavy grade steel, cuts a full 19" wide and 11" deep with each pass, clearing 2150 square feet per hour.

In addition to its hard-working plowing capacity, the Snow Joe Ultra features an adjustable discharge chute that rotates a complete 180 degrees to provide full control over the snow discharge direction. The chute deflector can also be adjusted to control the height of the snow stream. Easy-glide pivot wheels make the Snow Joe Ultra easy to turn and maneuver on each pass. The scraper blade at the base of the unit efficiently scrapes the snow clear to the pavement.

The Snow Joe Ultra 622, is powered electrically, making it effortless to start and maintain. No gas, oil, or tune-ups are necessary. The unit is ETL-approved and carries a full two year warranty.

"Great product for home use! Light enough to shave a pile!" 2010-02-19
By S. Smith (VA)
Good size for home use if you don't let the snow get too deep.

Used it on a 4 foot high by 12 ft long stack on my driveway. A gas powered one would have been too heavy to pick up and shave layers off inches at a time. This is light enough to carry up to my deck and do it also, and it was covered with 3 feet. One layer at a time and if you're use to power eq. it'll do good for you. It's not going to throw 2 feet deep per pass, be real. If you need to do a half mile, that would prob be too much. But it took a beating throwing my 4 foot pile. Worth the price! Oh, don't forget to tighten all the bolts on the blades! Comes with cheap wrench to put together and tighten blades.

 "Pretty darn great!" 2010-02-19
By V. Ciena (Valparaiso, IN)
This is my first snow blower and it was so easy to put together. I was excited to try it but of course it stopped snowing and didn't snow again for three weeks. Finally! My chance came and it started with ease, and I pushed the snow joe and the snow flew out of my driveway! Very easy to push, easy to maneuver, and pretty quiet. The only trouble I had was working with the cord and trying not to run it over. I'm actually hoping we have a lot more snow. I bought it for under $200 with free shipping so I got a good deal. I think it's totally worth the money and a good quality item.

"good for light fluffy snow, not the heavy stuff" 2010-02-17
By M. conrad (pittsburgh)
I received my snow joe after the Blizzard. It did well with the light fluffy snow and can handle 7 inches deep at a time . However it is not very good with the heavy snow. It does not throw the snow as claimed, but can toss it 6 to 8 feet.

It is light weight and does the job. If you want a heavy duty snow blower, get the gas one. Make sure you have an extension cord that can handle the amps.

 "Junk" 2010-02-16
By S. Mcmahon (St. Louis)
This blower... well blows! The first time I used it it was on one inch of snow. The snow was wet. It clogged. The next snow was light. It did a pretty good job, but left a bit on the driveway. Then snap, it stopped working. The blades would not spin. I removed the side panel to see it the belt came loose. The PLASTIC pulley had broken!!! That is right a plastic pulley. It gets brittle when it is cold. This is not well built even for light snow removal.

"Stay away - crapy product" 2010-02-15
By Upen Patel (VA)
This blower broke apart on its first use. The housing the made is flimsy plastic and could not stand the work it had to do to clear out the snow. The pictures are outright wrong representation of the product. If you get anything more then 12 in of snow then this is not for you. Waste of your time and money. Have to give it 1 star so that I can write this review. If it were up to me I would give them -ve stars.
